A Look Into HerSTEM Global
HerSTEM Global was formed by four girls who wanted to empower other girls in STEM by providing a safe community! This is a NYAS mentee-led initiative which serves to provide girls with a powerful platform to express themselves: be it through writing, art, photography, and more. The HSG community includes more than 40 girls from all backgrounds! We encourage you to expand your knowledge, step out of your comfort zone, challenge your beliefs, and become better global citizens.

Hi! I'm Mahika, a sophomore from India. I love writing and am really passionate about the intersection of STEM with various fields, including literature and art. HerSTEM Global is an amazing way of empowering girls, including me, to pursue a future in STEM and I can't wait to embark on this journey with everyone!
